Active Video Productions Inc. is proud to introduce Destination Wildlife. An exciting and refreshing new addition to its line up of Nature/Wildlife documentaries.
Destination Wildlife, an exhilarating new 13 part documentary television series highlighting the incredible relationship between man and wildlife was produced by award winning producer and wildlife photographer, Tim Gauthier.
The team at Active journeyed to some of the most exotic places on earth, collecting vast amounts of knowledge from scientists, project volunteers, local people and aboriginal tribes about their beliefs and experiences with the local wildlife. The tales of the people and their ongoing relationship with the animals together with the spectacular imagery is the heart and soul of this exciting series.
Our goal in producing this series is to accurately depict the problems facing wildlife and encourage environmental awareness and preservation. Hopes are that these journeys and real life stories will offer insight with a better understanding of what we can do to help protect and preserve this intricate balance between wildlife, nature and ourselves.
Destination Wildlife brings incredible panoramic adventures to the screen
offering an unforgettable glimpse into the world of the wildlife that's rarely seen or documented. The crisp, eye-catching look of the series comes from Active's own state of the art production facility. Acquisition in Beta SP, Matrox Digisuite non-linear editing system, 3D animation department and digital audio editing- the active team transforms raw footage into mesmerizing television.
